blah

i'm a bit lazy to write stuff, but i'll just write something for the sake of my weekly post commitment.

i lied, i'm not lazy, i'm just a bit busy with assignments, and...too much thought crammed to my mind about my friend's problem. I tried to help her but i just can't find the right word for me to say. its all piling up in me brain
anyhow here's the stuff i found loitering around the net this week

shut up fool!

ok. i really don't understand whats up with today.

basically, today is just another one of my unexpected free day. i should've been working on the levels of my NWN2 mods, but somehow, i can't squeeze my creativity juice outta my brain, so i decided to get my ass off the chair, take shower, and go out to city take a fresh air. and everything goes downhill. liek srsly

my first plan was to get haircut in Box Hill. i happen to received a free haircut voucher from my friend, so...i thought i could save some money =p anyway, i went to the hairdresser, and asked for a haircut. then just before the hair dresser lady started to do stuff, i asked her whether the voucher i was given is still valid. she said "oh yes, its still valid, but only on weekdays." i was...wha? why don't the cashier dude told me about that earlier? so i told them that i'll come back again sometime on weekdays....maybe. that place is waaaay too far from the train station, might as well find another good & cheap hairdresser.

then after that, i took the train to city. sat down on the corner end of the train and i smell piss. then i moved away. and when i finally arrived in city, i thought....what the hell do i come here for? i saw the Game On exhibition ad on Fed.Square, and i thought....nah, don't have my camera with me. maybe next time. fine. so i decided to kill time in borders reading comics. how lame is that?

then i go home. i have absolutely no idea how this is happening, i'm very very sure its a fricken different train, but it STILL smell like piss. and then there's this...fat lady asking everybody for a dollar to borrow immediately after getting on the train. i thought....man, this is the SECOND time someone asked me for a dollar. i wonder whats up with tha? its seriously bugging my mind and i can't stop thinking about it on the train.

and i got home, took off my jacket, and open the window for fresh, non-piss-odor air. took me quite a while to notice that there's a really really annoying noise coming from a park not far near our house. its soo annoying, listening to *presumably* 14-15 years old girls who's definitely annoying screaming about....something unclear and some random cheering, and....car horn? wait, 4 different car horns? wtf is going on over there?

i actually shout Mr.T's infamous line of "shut up fool!" out of the window. i feel very satisfied by doing that. makes me feel like i have this awesome mohawk with some blingies. awesomeness

The Sunday Post!

in addition to my new determination to rebuild my blog from scratch, i'm gonna put a weekly post mark so that i won't neglect this blog like its predecessor.

y'know, just to keep me from being lazy updating my blog =p

I just came back from my church, and i somehow feel tired, but at the same time, refreshed. i learnt something about taking action based on conviction, not convenience. if we're doing stuff based on convenience, then we're simply adapt to the suitable condition, whereas if its based on conviction, we must adapt to the existing situation whether its a disadvantage for us, otherwise, we'll be sitting down in our comfort zone and no development happens in our life.

anyway, thank GOD my internet is now back and running smoothly like usual. i can't do any assignments because of it, and i can't check email from it. its been bugging me for the last 2 days, but at least i got a decent sleep =p (was suppose to keep on drawing stuff though)

anyway, here's the weekly 'discovery' of the net
  • Homer Simpsons & Pig desktop art - Gizmodo.com - I say: a brilliant way to pass time. very mac-y
  • Team Fortress 2 - Meet the SCOUT! - various sources - I say: finally, the long anticipated video of "Meet the..." video from Valve.corp has finally released on the net! I haven't watched it yet when i made this post, but I will.
  • Japanese Cloak of Invisibility - Gizmodo.com - I say: for you HarryPorker fanboys, you'd want this. but try not to do the NSFW things, k? otherwise you'll make an enemy of all female community in the....community.

A big shoutout for Sheila.G, good luck facing your final exam of your 3rd year =p don't stress, its just another exam, you've done thousands of them before~

dude, WTF?

k, i know i'm still new in this uni life, but seriously. no matter how much i give a thought about this, there's ALWAYS something which is not right with today's lecture.

first off, its called Maths & Physics for Artists lecture. get it? MATHS and PHYSICS. those 2 words are almost synonymous to the other word called 'number'.

but then

why the hell do we have to learn about the anatomy of an....EYE during the number-overwhelmed lecture session, and has very little to no relation to NUMBER whatsoever? sure we get to see some cool optical illusions, but what does it have to do with Maths or Physics?

seriously, wtf?

Social Link Level Up!

P3 fans: seriously, I've got people commenting on how cheesy the title is. get used to it >_>;;;

Anyway, i managed to do something incredible today. Its incredible in the sense that its one thing that i've never done before. which is starting to communicate with other people. as far as i know, i don't really give a crap about it first, but i find it really awkward for me to do it.

It goes like this. it all starts on monday after i finished my games studio session, i'm just walking by the noticeboard on the poles in the cafetaria. Then i find this note which says "Your English for My Japanese" with non-english-looking handwriting. i thought, man, its actually a chance for me to practice my Japanese instead of mucking around pointlessly in city or in my room.

so i snatch the notice, then i thought to myself...what if this whole thing is just a scam? so i decided to txt the phone number included in the notice. to put it simply, turns out that its not a scam, and i found myself exchanging language with a 27 years old Japanese woman. not so pretty, but its better than nothing.

then the rest of the day is just as boring as it used to be. 2 lectures and a tutorial and a lab after that. i skipped the tutorial because i can't be bothered with this visual basic programming anymore. i want JAVA programming, and they gonna have JAVA programming next week. damnit, why can't it be tomorrow???? but at least i'm actually gonna learn something new this time.

i don't want to see you anymore Alice, go away, i hate you

Ressurection, 復活, Rinascita, whatever you call it

uh...k, so as I have moved to Melbourne, I think
I better start running my blog again.

I know my last year attempt was
flunked by tons and tons of assignments, but
I do hope this year I can still run this....thing.

Well...I think for starters, I could say that I'm gonna sleep now.

I know I'm a lazy person, don't tell me about it >_>;;;
